Secretary Hammond honors domestic businesses that have been on file with the Office 100+ years.

(CHARLESTON, SC) -- Today Secretary of State Mark Hammond officially recognized Evening Post Industries Inc. as a South Carolina Centennial Business.  This honor is reserved for domestic business entities that have been in good standing with the Secretary of State’s Office for 100 years or more.    
 
Secretary Hammond honored Evening Post Industries Inc. at its headquarters in Charleston, SC.  “Evening Post Industries owes its success to keeping its promises,” said Secretary Hammond.  “As noted in its mission statement, Evening Post Industries has delivered on its promises to inform and educate the public through its media entities; to maintain a high level of competence and deliver superior goods and services; and to deliver a safe, respectful and forward-thinking workplace to its employees, where open communications and diversity are encouraged and championed.  Evening Post Industries is an iconic presence in South Carolina, and truly embodies what it means to be an outstanding corporate citizen.”
 
Evening Post Industries may be best known for its publication of The Post and Courier, the South’s oldest daily newspaper, which can be traced back to The Courier, founded in 1803, and The Evening Post, founded in 1894.  In addition to multimedia platforms, Evening Post Industries maintains holdings in a wide range of industry segments including healthcare services and products; information technology and business services; education and training; and marketing services.
